
Into Water
Into Water is an experimental short film honouring the Indigenous ceremony and medicines connected to water. In the film, June, a water spirit, is preparing, through ceremony to return to those very waters.
Director: Cole Stevens-Goulais
Cole Stevens-Goulais (Nipissing First Nation) has written, directed, and acted in various student/independent short films, theatre pieces, and one musical. He is a recipient of the Ken and Ann Watts Memorial Scholarship and the James Bartleman Indigenous Youth Creative Writing Award. A graduate of the Video Design and Production, George Brown College, Cole is the Indigenous Arts Program Coordinator, Paprika Festival.
