MUJER ESPÍRITU

The spirits of the night produce life with their songs. The spirit woman, who understands the magic of nature, can cross between all the kingdoms, become an owl, water or tree. Spirit Woman is an animation inspired by the ceremonial chants of Maria Sabina, Mazateca sage, connoisseur of indigenous medicine based on the understanding of flora and fauna. Directed by Adriana Ronquillo, Mujer Espíritu is a mind-blowing hybrid animation that immerses us in the vision of the natural world through the music of the Mexican band Ampersan. This piece was made by a group of Latin American artists gathered at La Furia Estudios and produced by Chancha Vía Circuito, with the aim of offering a poem of light in uncertain times.
