ᎭᏫᎾᏗᏢ ᎤᏪᏴᎢ (beneath the stream)

Robbie Wing is an artist, composer, and performer from Tulsa, Oklahoma, and a citizen of the Cherokee Nation. He is currently residing in Catskill, New York. His practice engages sound as a material and environmental force, working through feedback systems and sound sculpture, while also encompassing composition and score writing for film and time-based media.

Wing is pursuing an MFA in Music/Sound at Bard College and holds a master’s degree in Urban Design from the University of Oklahoma. His large-scale installation Cross Ties Song (2024) was previously exhibited at Tinworks Art in Bozeman, Montana. He is currently developing a new work, Dirt Speaker Box, for the Hessel Museum of Art at Bard College. Wing has presented and performed work at venues including the Portland Institute for Contemporary Art, the Tulsa Artist Fellowship Flagship Gallery, the Philbrook Museum, the University of Kent (Chatham, UK), the Institute for Advanced Studies in Kőszeg, Hungary, the Roy and Edna Disney CalArts Theater, and the Center for Arts, Research & Alliances.
