TESTIMONIALS

My name's Henriette and I've been volunteering with imagineNATIVE for three years. The imagineNATIVE staff are all very friendly and welcoming. Everyone is willing to answer questions and make your volunteer experience enjoyable. I've ushered, helped set up guests to view VR films and even assisted in the preparation of the welcoming dinner. During this past virtual festival, I helped out with the chat line, assisted guests to purchase tickets and answered festival-related questions. There was a lot to learn in a short period of time, but with the help of Victoria, Amee, and of course Teineisha, all went well. My volunteer experience has taught me a lot over the years and I've enjoyed numerous films and spoken to many talented filmmakers. imagineNATIVE is one of the best film festivals in the GTA and a rewarding volunteer experience.

My name is Kate Lindsay Taeuschel and one word I would use to describe my experience is: connections. Not only did we embrace an online format this year, but as a live chat helper I was able to get a sense of just how many people from all over the world were coming together to attend this year’s festival and I know a lot of connections were made over culture, storytelling and art. So again thank you so much to ImagineNATIVE for putting on this year’s festival.
