When a young boy fears for his grandfather’s health he looks to the land to seek a cure. Heriata Rurehe is a passionate storyteller from Ōtaki. She loves sharing stories from her land. Tuia Ngā Here is Heriata’s first short film with a professional crew. Kura Turuwhenua is a multifaceted wāhine Māori. Some of her talents include stand-up comedy, podcasting, acting, singing, animation, writing, and directing.
