Guest Services Lead Coordinator
The Guest Services Lead Coordinator is responsible for all Festival guest-related initiatives, including accreditation, accommodation, travel, and visitor services. Under the supervision and guidance of the Executive Director and Operations Manager (and in consultation with senior management), the Guest Services Lead Coordinator works to ensure a positive, welcoming, and responsive experience for all of imagineNATIVE’s Festival artists, delegates and guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Update and maintain Festival Delegates List with input from senior staff
- Working with the Executive Director and senior staff identify priority travel and accommodation list
- Arrange and confirm travel, accommodation, hospitality, support, and transportation for accredited guests of the Festival according to the budget set by the Executive Director
Maintain the Festival - Accreditation document, including mail merges, email follow-ups and website Press + General Accreditation forms for the Festival website

Website Coordinator
Reporting to the Communications Manager, the Website Coordinator creates, organizes, and streamlines content for the main imagineNATIVE website (WordPress) and the Indigenous Cinema Alliance website (Squarespace), in addition to other imagineNATIVE websites and platforms. This position will also work on the development and launch of imagineNATIVE’s digital archive/artist directory project and other projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Input and update all website content in advance of the 2025 imagineNATIVE Film + Media Arts Festival, including coordinating a smooth process to sync event information from our ticketing platform and building our online digital and interactive works platform, iNdigital Space
- Update, copy edit, and create content on the imagineNATIVE websites (WordPress, Squarespace, Shopify, etc) as required, proactively reaching out and collaborating across all departments to ensure information is current, relevant, and clearly communicated

Communications Coordinator
Reporting to the Communications Manager, the Communications Coordinator will focus on leading the planning and execution of social media content, maintaining the newsletter, creating visual and video assets for multiple projects and departments, and managing projects such as the creation, design, and approvals of still assets and signage for events, as well as the annual Festival trailer. Duties include writing social media content, creating imagery, and collaborating to determine and fully realize the creative direction of Festival branding.

- Create, curate, and publish content across imagineNATIVE’s social channels working with Facebook, Instagram, Threads, X (formerly Twitter), TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, as well as other emerging channels

FESTIVAL DIRECTOR
imagineNATIVE Film + Media Festival is seeking a dynamic and creative individual who is First Nations, Métis, or Inuk for a senior leadership role as Festival Director.
Key Responsibilities:
- Key responsibilities include sourcing, securing, and planning film, video, audio, digital, and other programming in keeping with imagineNATIVE’s mandate, artistic policy, and selection processes. Our ideal candidate is someone who primarily has knowledge of and contacts within the Indigenous film festival and production scene worldwide, has experience working in that environment and is passionate about Indigenous-made media arts.
- The Festival Director must be artist-first-minded and a team leader who works well through inter-departmental collaboration.
- The Festival Director oversees the Programming team, including the Programming Coordinator, Programming Manager, and Digital + Interactive team. Leads in the selection and formation of Festival Programmers, Curators, and Jury, in addition to any other contract or support roles associated with artistic initiatives. Outreach Coordinator – Internship
The Outreach Coordinator – Intern reports to the Events + Outreach Manager and is responsible for coordinating and initiating administrative processes, maintaining and updating systems related to imagineNATIVE’s year round and festival outreach initiatives. Volunteer Coordinator
The Volunteer Coordinator provides support to the Volunteer Manager by maintaining the volunteer database, creating and presenting training materials, creating volunteer shifts and the volunteer schedule, editing and updating the volunteer handbook and assisting with pre- festival volunteer outreach and year-round opportunities. iNDigital Space Manager
The iNDigital Space Manager works within the Artistic Programming Team. Reporting to the Festival Director, the iNDigital Space Manager is responsible for the management of the digital + interactive programs and initiatives related to the artistic presentation, artistic and industry program developments, and discourse/profile of digital and interactive media arts created by Indigenous Artists. The iNDigital Space Manager’s primary focus is the iNdigital Space at the annual Festival but also contributes to year-round Artistic initiatives, including the D+I Tour and Institute offerings in collaboration with the Board Institute Committee. The iNDigital Space Manager works to increase the profile, presentation, and professionalism of Indigenous digital and interactive arts at imagineNATIVE.

EVENTS COORDINATOR
The Events Coordinator will support the Events department, working collectively to execute the Festival’s Special Events. The Events Coordinator reports directly to the Events Manager and works inclusively with all imagineNATIVE departments to ascertain priorities relevant to the Festival’s Special Events. They are responsible for coordinating the Special Events logistics; booking, scheduling, ordering and purchasing items, ensuring that deliveries, load-ins and load-outs run according to schedule. They are also responsible for maintaining frequent communication with vendors, third party contractors, and artists. The Events Coordinator will act as a front-facing representative of the organization and will conduct themselves in a professional and positive manner at all imagineNATIVE Festival Special Events. INSTITUTE ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
The Institute Administrative Assistant supports the Institute Manager and Institute team by assisting with administrative and organizational duties. Operations + Office Assistant
The Operations + Office Assistant is responsible for the general administrative needs of the organization, including support + logistics of year-round activities as well as the Festival. A direct report to the Operations Manager, the Operations + Office Assistant ensures all administrative tasks and needs are met in a timely manner in line with organizational goals. Please note: this position must be based in Toronto with the ability to work in office at least 1 day a week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working with Excel, Sheets, Google Docs, monday.com, Shopify, mail merge and creating pathways and systems to help staff utilize these tools.
- Assist the Operations Manager with the delivery of assets to the streaming platform (Cinesend), our ticketing platform (Elevent) + additional digital tools used for screenings.

- Lead the imagineNATIVE archive/artist directory project from start to finish and collaborate with imagineNATIVE’s Communications Manager, Website Coordinator, other imagineNATIVE staff and leadership, and external teams, including but not limited to website developers, funders, and artists
- Research, catalogue, and organize materials for special projects related to the 25th Anniversary Festival (on-site work is required)

Programming Administrative Assistant
The Programming Administrative Assistant will support the Programming team in planning, executing, and reporting on artistic Year-Round and Festival-related programming. The training provided will cover administrative and arts management skills related to film, media arts, and cultural sectors. The Programming Administrative Assistant will learn incredibly valuable, practical, on-the-ground training related to Indigenous curatorial practices at the world’s largest Indigenous film and media arts Festival.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Festival Director in managing Programming partnership opportunities
- Implement Artistic Programming digital filing system for year round programming;
- Assist and compile supplementary materials for programming needs that reflect the funders, artists, and initiatives;
- Assist in collecting supplementary materials for curatorial grants, exhibitions, programs, and events
- Work with Operations platform/web coordinator to manage Artistic Programs on the iN digital presentation platform including media management and applying organizational brand and formatting guides supporting various platforms – presentation platform, social media, website, etc.

Fundraising Administrative Assistant
Reporting to the Fundraising and Development Manager the Fundraising Administrative Assistant will support the fundraising team in planning, executing and reporting on all Festival related fundraising (corporate partners, community partners, donors, and stewardship).
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop skills in maintaining the Development Deadline Calendar – tracking important deadlines for proposals, final reports, and donor calls;

INSTITUTE ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
The Institute Administrative Assistant provides support to the Institute Manager and Institute Coordinator by assisting with administrative and organizational duties.

Bookkeeper (Part-Time)
imagineNATIVE is looking for a Part-Time Bookkeeper to work with the Executive Director to issue payables, reconcile bank statements, track cash flow and prepare reports as required for Board Meetings. Other duties include assisting with the annual audit.

Operations Assistant
The Operations Assistant will support the Operations Manager in producing and delivering year-round and 2023 Festival programs, both on our online platforms and in person. This role helps manage the delivery of digital, technical & administrative processes and helps maintain Office systems.
- Working with Excel, Sheets, Google Docs, monday.com, Shopify and YAMM mail merge and creating pathways and systems to help staff utilize these tools.
- Helping manage the office, storage + inventory spaces
- Help oversee and track production videos, documents, captioning + subtitles, pre-records, and running order/program line-up for Festival content
- Pulling reports, analytics and additional data required for various teams and departments.
