Digital + Interactive Manager

Reporting to the Artistic Director, the Digital + Interactive Manager is responsible for delivering programs and initiatives related to the artistic presentation, artistic and industry program developments, and discourse/profile of digital and interactive media arts created by Indigenous Artists. The Digital + Interactive Manager’s primary focus is the iNdigital Space + Arcade at the annual Festival and contributes to year-round Artistic initiatives, including D+I activations for the imagineNATIVE Tour, iNdigital Youth Collective and Institute offerings in collaboration with the Board Programming Committee. Under the guidance of the Artistic Director, the Digital + Interactive Manager will work with the Digital + Interactive Assistant to increase the profile, presentation, and professionalism of Indigenous digital and interactive arts at imagineNATIVE.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualizing and design layout for the iNdigital Space + Arcade for the annual Festival
  • With the Artistic Director, develop and oversee the planning and execution of any Digital + Interactive panels, workshops, and networking events as part of the Festival’s iNdigital Days
  • With Artistic Director, implement any special Artistic Digital + Interactive programming for the Festival
  • Manage all contract staff associated with the iNdigital Space, including assistants and volunteers
  • Manage the development, set-up, execution, and strike of the iNdigital Space keeping within budget, technical and artistic requirements, and strategic priorities

  • Fixed-term Contract: November 24, 2025 – July 31, 2026
  • Part-Time (24 hrs/week), prorated hourly rate: $34.50, bi-weekly salary + 4% vacation pay

Website Coordinator

Reporting to the Communications Manager, the Website Coordinator creates, organizes, and streamlines content for the main imagineNATIVE website, imagineNATIVE’s ticketing platform, the virtual iNdigital Space platform, and Kin Theory, in addition to other imagineNATIVE websites and platforms. This position will also work alongside the Publications + Archives Coordinator on the development and updating of imagineNATIVE’s Artist Spotlight Directory project and other projects related to the 26th imagineNATIVE Film + Media Arts Festival (which will take place in June 2026). The Website Coordinator will work across imagineNATIVE departments and closely with the Communications department, as well as with third-party contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Input and update all website content in advance of the 2026 imagineNATIVE Film + Media Arts Festival, including coordinating a smooth process to sync event information from our ticketing platform, working closely with the Box Office team, as well as building our online digital and interactive works platform, iNdigital Space
  • Update, copy edit, and create content on the imagineNATIVE websites (WordPress, Squarespace, Shopify, etc) as required, proactively reaching out and collaborating across all departments to ensure information is current, relevant, and clearly communicated
  • Collaborate on the development and updating of imagineNATIVE’s Artist Spotlight Directory project and collaborate with the Communications Manager, Publications + Archives Coordinator, other imagineNATIVE staff and leadership, and external teams, including but not limited to website developers, funders, and artists
  • Serve as a direct liaison between imagineNATIVE staff, web development teams, third-party contractors, contributors, artists, and others directly involved in projects


Additional Details:

  • Fixed-term employment contract:
    21 hours/week (February 3, 2026 to April 2, 2026)
    35 hours/week (April 6, 2026 to June 19, 2026)
  • Must be available to work occasional overtime during and in the lead-up to event, including the annual festival and project launch dates
  • Must be able to work from home in a place with reliable internet and your own computer and smartphone
  • Occasional in-office work required at our Toronto office (located at 401 Richmond St W)
  • Occasional in-person work required at events
  • Compensation rate: $24/hour
