The Artist Spotlight Directory was conceived out of the idea to create a more accessible, engaging, and meaningful way to showcase and support Indigenous artists and industry professionals who have been a part of imagineNATIVE’s history. The Artist Spotlight Directory is designed as a platform to highlight artists’ work within imagineNATIVE, create greater visibility for Indigenous artistry, and inspire emerging creatives. This project is launching with 25 artists in celebration of the 25th anniversary of the imagineNATIVE Film + Media Arts Festival. We hope to add more Indigenous artists to this in the years to come and further showcase the breadth of past, present, and future work presented through imagineNATIVE!

Please note: While these artists have expansive careers which include many more works and accomplishments, the Artist Spotlight Directory only highlights their work with imagineNATIVE.
